Restful nights sleep.......

(Mimi after a nap)

Well we had almost full nights sleep last night. Willow was up to her usual tricks of diving on and off the bed and dashing up and down the stairs like she had all the demons of hell behind her. Whilst Mimi curled up and promptly fell asleep at the bottom of the bed.

Brian decided he had had enough and went to give Willow " A Good Talking To". Two minutes later he is back upstairs with Willow in his arms purring her head off. After calming her down she settled down on the bed and they both slept till an unheard of hour of 4.14am. whooooo hooo. Has my hubby finally cracked it. Is this all Willow needs a cuddle before settling down for the night????. Only time will tell but I will keep you posted. Both of them decided to take a trip downstairs to play and Brian said as they are both out of the bedroom you better close the door. Ohhhh bliss they left us in peace till 6.30ish this morning, where upon Willow started crying outside the bedroom door begging to come in for her morning cuddle.

After that all hell broke loose they wanted their breakfast and wanted it now. Brian obliged and now as I type this up they are going absolutely mental running up and down the stairs over the bed ( I can hear the thumps on the floor upstairs through the ceiling) back down the stairs under the table, round the living room and back to the stairs. A vicious circle. I guess they will sleep all day now and be ready for another round of sleepless nights tonight.....lol

Growing fast

I am going to try to up load one of those picture viewer gadgets so that you can see more pictures of the girls. I have taken so
many over the few weeks that we have had them that there is too many to add all in one go.

(Willow the poser)

Mimi is the smaller of the two girls and loves nothing better that to eat, sleep and eat some more.
Willow much prefers to eat run about the house like a lunatic, eat a little bit more, run round the house like an even bigger lunatic, eat some more
then fall asleep. We have found out that Mimi is totally deaf and they will both therefore be total house cats. They both love to watch the world go by out of the window watching the birds and "talking" to them. Its quite amusing to watch .

They have started exploring the whole house now and we were surprised at how high up Willow can jump in order to get to the window.
Nothing is safe because the use the furniture to get to whatever side they want to get to.
Brians new chess set has been relegated to the spare room as they managed to get a piece of it onto the floor and proceeded to play pat it round the room at 2am. We were NOT impressed.
(Mimi with her pink fluffy ball)
They both seem to be "early birds" and tend to wake us at un-earthly house i.e. 2am with pats to the cheek and purring in the ears. Great when its the weekend but not so great when we both have to get up for work the next day.
But we still love them both to bits.

At long last

I have been meaning to start this blog of my life with two kittens since I got them but just haven't got round to it. Well today is the day and the start of my first ever blog.

My hubby couldn't decide what to get me for christmas last year and after loosing my precious cat Moggit to cancer over a year ago and our dog Charlie last summer he asked me if I would like a Kitten/s for christmas. My first reaction was NOOOOOO. I get so attached to them and it breaks my heart when anything happens to them. After saying the said no I regreted it so much and then we began the search for my new babies.

We ended up getting two British short haired whites from a lovely lady called Carla in Lewisham London, and the two girls came home with us on 29th November. They have been the funniest, cutest, crazyest, most tiring time I have had in a long time. They tend to sleep all day and keep us awake all night. Over the next few weeks I will upload some more recent pictures of them and continue to tell the tale of the two spoilt kittens
